포드는 SDV(Self-Driving Vehicle)에 대한 수준을 SAE기준 Level 4를 목표 2021년 출시를 위해 준비중이다.
포드는 V2C가 아닌 V2V용의 다목적 자율주행차를 개발 예정
- Without steering wheel, gas or brake pedals until 2021 for a ride-halling service within a specifically-defined area of a city only when the weather is good enough for the sensors to work properly.
- 2021년에 일반 소비자에 판매되지는 않고 위의 특수 서비스 목적으로 자체 운영 및 제휴 예정 (ex. Ride-halling service and goods delivery service)
